Merger between TeleMed and BESTmed approved!
The proposed merger between TeleMed and BESTmed have been approved by both the Council for Medical Schemes and the Competition Commission. TeleMed Medical Scheme will be deregistered on 31 December 2009 and from 1 January 2010 be merged and known as BESTmed Medical Scheme (administered by Sanlam Healthcare Management).
Important notice
TeleMed members will retain their membership numbers when merging with BESTmed on
1 January 2010. New membership cards will be issued early next year.
